My name is Dawn Roffe and I am the founder of the Windsor School of Astrology.  I hold the Diploma from the Faculty of Astrological Studies (DFAstrolS) which I achieved in 2002, being that year's winner of the prestigious Margaret Hone Award for the highest marks gained for the Interpretation Paper.  I have been a Distance Learning Tutor for the Faculty of Astrological Studies and a class teacher for the London School of Astrology.  I have also taught privately for more than 10 years.

The Windsor School of Astrology is well into its second year.  The first year saw the formation of a successful Foundation Class and Intermediate Class, both of which still continue to meet regularly. 

New classes at both levels are next available from January 2009.  The cost of the course is £150 per term.  Each course will run for a total of 3 terms, each term lasting 10 weeks and each lesson lasting 2 hours. Both the Foundation Syllabus and Intermediate Syllabus are available detailing the complete course details, although these may alter slightly!   

Psychological astrology implies individual responsibility and a belief we can change many things in our lives if we are prepared to do the inner work.  Because we view the birth chart as an inner picture we can take responsibility for how we express it, and consciousness can make a huge difference.  A psychological approach to astrology allows each of us to transform many things if we make sufficient effort.  But we can be deluded by the fantasy that we can change anything, and some things lie beyond the individual's scope of influence.*

I will be the main teacher although from time to time it may be necessary to bring in an expert in areas such as Horary Astrology.  As I also run Old Windsor Astrology Club which holds meetings on a monthly basis with a variety of very good astrological speakers, students will be encouraged to attend talks which will develop their skills even further.
